Youth Mentorship

the Founder and CEO of Operation: INSPIRE. When I was a novice OR manager, I received a gut-wrenching call from a frantic mother whose son, a college quarterback, was just wheeled to our recovery room and had a wrong finger surgery. We were supposed to operate an index finger. Instead, we did the middle finger.

Our patients go to surgery to be healed, not for us to do harm.
This never event was an impetus for Operation: INSPIRE, to improve surgical outcomes while building life-long trusting relationships within our community and the organizations that we serve.

I’m Claret Presley,

Welcome

Dr. Jason Ough

"Claret is one of the most dynamic, engaging, and effective leaders that I have ever had the privilege and pleasure of working alongside. She has the intelligence, wisdom, and compassion to be truly transformative, and would be an incredible asset to any organization."

"I am grateful to have a mentor who is supportive and encouraging. A mentor is someone that I trust, “my go to”. Claret has been my mentor for two years. She inspires and motivates me, especially when my confidence is lacking. She always reinforces self-care, mental health, and wellbeing. She shares potential opportunities that lead to my goal in pre nursing major and future career path"
